The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi

Our mission is to create a moment for people to reconnect with nature.

We are the largest public aquarium in the Middle East housing more than 40,000 animals in our 9,000 square meters facility. Our animal collection includes: freshwater and marine life, reptiles, amphibians, birds and, mammals.

Through the aquarium’s immersive journey of 11 geographical zones and 60 exhibits we wish to inspire our visitors to explore, experience and engage with nature from all over the world. One of our major pillars is the preservation of the UAE’s maritime heritage and our visitors will have the opportunity to witness and learn how the local culture and nature live in harmony across the Arabian Gulf. Located in the heart of UAE the National Aquarium Abu Dhabi is more than an aquarium, it is a journey to explore “A world of Natural Treasures”.
