Out of many workers’ residential cities across the nation, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation named our facility “Workers Village” the Happiest Workers’ Residential City in the UAE for 2018.On the behalf of Al Barakah Holding, the Managing Director Moataz Mashal and the Head of Business Development Abdulla Saeed bin Omeir received the accolade from H.E. Nasser bin Juma Thani Al Hamli, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation at the Ritz Carlton DIFC on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day 2018.In an event last year, our facility “Saadiyat Village” received a similar award by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization and Ministry of State of Happiness. We would like to thank our employees, partners, and clients for contributing to this success.

Under the patronage of Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, H.E. Saqr Ghobash, and Minister of State for Happiness, H.E.Ohood Bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Al Saadiyat Village was awarded the “Happiest Accommodation Village” during “The Happiness of Work Program” event on May 2, 2017..

“The Happiness of Work Program” event was organized to celebrate the success of the private sector initiatives towards achieving a better living and happier environment in the United Arab Emirates. Managed by Mayar Facilities Management, Al Saadiyat Village was honored for its best living conditions and recreation facilities among the accommodation villages in the country.

OSHAD have launched the Safety in Heat program to raise awareness about the procedures that must be implemented for the heat stress management program by employers and supervisors in order to protect workers from the summer heat in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Safety in Heat program is supported by the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation in accordance with the law that states employers must not allow workers to perform any outdoor activities from 12:30pm until 3:00pm.

The “Safety in Heat Program” Competition has been created to recognize and reward entities that comply with the requirements of Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System Framework (OSHAD SF) and the midday break law and also provide and maintain world-class working conditions for their workforce during the difficult summer months. Both of our villages were awarded; Workers Village won the 1st place and Hirmas-Al Saadiyat Village won the 2nd place.
