Al Barakah has successfully completed a series of Hard Services upgrades at the Workers’ Village, aimed at improving operational efficiency, safety, and residents’ wellbeing. The works included the conversion of the hot water boiler system from gas-operated to electrically operated in T1 and T2, reducing interruptions caused by gas pressure variations and lowering maintenance and operational costs. Additional improvements included enhanced lighting levels in accommodation areas, installation of an additional steam boiler for the laundry to increase capacity and prevent breakdowns and upgrading drinking water chillers to improve comfort and support tenant wellbeing. These enhancements align with regulatory requirements and asset lifecycle planning, reinforcing Al Barakah’s commitment to sustainable and compliant facilities management.
